Thursday
We have been in Las Vegas for 3 days, Sunday I took Maya on a date, Monday I took everyone to this super cool arcade, Tuesday we all just stayed at the hotel and told scary stories, and yesterday, which was Wednesday, We went on a shopping spree. Being here has helped me get to know Maya's friends and family a lot better! So much so that they are now my friends as well.
"Babeeeee wake up", I hear Maya whine, trying to wake me up.
"neverrrrr", I whine.
"fine, suit yourself," she says. I smile thinking that I had one our little debate, but my smile turns into a frown when I feel her pulling me out of bed. I groan and sit up.
"whyyyy", I pout. she leans up and pecks my lips.
"Taylor said she needs to talk to you," she answers.
"I also want the bed to myself because you are the worst at sharing the covers, like, ever", she adds.
I chuckle and go get dressed before heading to Smackle and Taylor's room.
I knock on the door, and smackle opens it. She has a slight frown on her face and I begin to wonder whats going on. just then I hear sniffles coming from inside the room. smackle grabs my wrist and leads me to the living room where Taylor is sobbing on the floor.
I immediately drop to the floor and wrap my arms around her.
"What's wrong baby," I ask genuinely concerned.
"M-my mom," she sobs into my shoulder.
"Is she okay," I asked worried beyond belief.
years ago my mom was sick, and instead of letting me live with my alcoholic father who was rarely ever home, Taylor's mom, Lindsay, was kind enough to let me stay with them. My mom and Lindsay are best friends, she means a lot to me too.
"She is in the hospital," Taylor sobs even harder.
"Shhh Tay, it's going to be okay," I try to comfort her, a tear escaping my eye.
"She-She has Cancer, everything is NOT going to be okay y/n! she had it for a year, AN ENTIRE YEAR, and she didn't tell me", she breaks down.
"Listen, sweety, I love you, and whatever you need, I will do for you", I say kissing her forehead.
Taylor is the sister, I never had, but always needed. We always have each other's back, no matter what.
"I need to go, today, to see her", she says, her voice raw.
"Okay, I understand, I'm going to pack your bags, and book a flight, do you want me to go with you," I ask.
"No, y/n stay, enjoy your vacation, I will be fine, I promise. I need to do this alone, "she says sincerely.
I nod my head and pack her bags and book a flight, as I said I would. I call an uber that will be here for her shortly.
"Thanks for everything y/n, I love you lots", she hugs me.
"awe, you don't even have to thank me, I got your back, your my girl," I say hugging her back.
"Well, I should say goodbye to everyone, including my boyfriend," she says.
"Wait, boyfriend", I ask shocked.
she giggles, "yeah Zay asked me out last night", she swoons.
"So that's what the moaning was", I joke.
"Shut up", she pushes me playfully.
I laugh and give her one last hug before she leaves to say goodbye to everyone.
I walk back to my room, and find Maya dancing around the living room, blasting Bruno mars. Her outfit made me smile, she is so adorable.
"Throw that ass in a circle mama," I laugh. Maya turns a dark shade of red.
"I'm joking", I say and wrap my arms around her waist, burying my head in the crook of her neck.
"What was up with Taylor", she asks.
I explain everything that happened.
"Wow, are you okay", Maya askes concerned.
"I guess, I just hope she will be okay..."

Later that night everyone came over to my room to eat dinner, I made Spaghetti.
"Let's play truth or dare", Maya suggest.
"Let's go to the casino", My mom suggests to the adults.
"oooh money, you guys are good here right," Shawn asks.
we all nod before the adults head out to gamble.
We all sit in a circle on the floor. Maya is sitting on my lap though, causing me to smile.
"Who wants to go first," I ask.
"I Will", Riley says excitedly.
"Truth or dare Smackle," she says.
"Dare," smackle replies causing us all to gasp.
"I dare you to yell 'I love cheesecake, cheesecake late at night', off the balcony."
We all laugh as she does that, before sitting back down.
"Farkle, Truth or dare", smackle asks.
"Truth," He says confidently.
"Who is your celebrity crush," she asks.
"umm probably, Camila Cabello, she's hot," he answers causing smackle to glare at him playfully.
"Y/n truth or dare," Hector smirks at me.
"Truth", I say cockily.
"Are you a virgin," he asks making me choke on my own saliva.
"uh, Actually, no I am not, "I glare at hector who is laughing his ass off. I notice Maya staring at me in the corner of my eye.
"Zay, Truth or dare," I say trying to change the topic.
"Dare", he says in a monotone, I can tell he is worried about Taylor.
"I Dare You to call Taylor and check up on her", he smiles softly before mouthing a 'Thank you' to me.
"mkay, who is next", I ask.
"Me," Maya says.
"Truth or dare y/n, truth okay," she says.
"You really just chose for me," I laugh.
"yep, get over it, so since your not a virgin, who did you lose it too", she asks.
Everyone looks at me, waiting for my answer causing me to blush.
"My ex-boyfriend named Tom", I lie quickly.
"Should I feel threatened by this tom," Maya smirks.
"Not at all, he lives in California now, so that's a done deal," I answer honestly.
"I'm also madly in love with someone else now, named Maya Penelope Hart," I kiss her nose.
"Who told her", she says seriously.
Zay walks back in giggling.
"she made me Maya," he says.
"How did she make you," she asks confused.
"She said, what Maya's middle name, I said Penelope."
She shakes her head at him causing the rest of us to laugh.
"Truth or dare Riley", Lucas asks.
"Dare", She answers.
"I dare you to kiss me," he says causing all of us to groan.
She leans over and kisses the cowboy.
We finish playing truth or dare and everyone goes back to their room. Maya and I head to bed and fall asleep holding each other all night.
