Me- Its straight fire tbh

Me- Honestly if Camila and I were friends you would have some serious competition

Me- I'm just joking baby you know I love you to the moon and back and there is nobody on this planet, or any other, that could take me away from you

Me- I'm yours forever

me- seriously still no reply???

Me- Baby, are you mad at me?

Me- Did I do something wrong??

Me- Whatever I did, I'm sorry, I love you and we can work this out

Me- just don't s**t me out, Maya

Me- *Shut* f*****g autocorrect

Me- Wait are you sick again?

Me- IT WAS PROBABLY MY MOMS FOOD!!

Me-Maya I promise7 I will never let her cook for you again!

Me- if she did give u food poisoning you better be at the hospital!

Me- I will make you a huge gallon of soup, and I'm going to come over and cuddle you until you can't breathe! We can watch every horror movie known to mankind too!

I speed over to Maya's apartment as fast as I can. As soon as I arrive I run straight to her window, its the fastest way to reach her. Surprisingly its already open, making it easy to climb through. But what I see inside, Breaks my heart instantly...

Maya is in a ball on the floor sobbing silently. I immediately wrap my arms around her, she melts into me.

Maya has always been guarded. It's not something I think she does on purpose, but I understand her past was a difficult one. That's why I don't pressure her to open up to me a lot. That being said, I have never seen her so vulnerable, and its enough to bring me to tears.

"Talk to me Maya", I plead, holding her in my arms.

"That asshole," she says leaving me confused.

"What," I ask.

"Its the anniversary of the day that my ass hole of a father left me and my mom to fend for ourselves! Alone and scared", she sobs.

"I was 5, Y/n! Only 5! I know I wasn't always the easiest child growing up, but what the hell did I do to deserve my father walking out on me?! Was I not pretty enough? Was I not smart enough? Or did he just hate the thought of me altogether?"

"Maya, you know that this couldn't have been your fault", I begin to cry.

"Yeah, right, because he just wasn't ready for a family! Well, I guess it didn't take long for him to be ready considering a year later he knocked up somebody else", she sobs.

I just place a gentle kiss on her forehead and another tear escapes my eye.

"I know I say me don't care, but it hurts, like hell. I had to grow up without a father because of his stupid decision. More than half my life I had to live with a leaky roof, a hole in my f*****g wall, and a mother I could only see half of," she speaks bitterly.

I just listen to her vent, that's what she needs.

"I WENT THROUGH HELL BECAUSE HE COULDNT KEEP HIS d**k IN HIS PANTS", She laughs in anger.

"I hate men," she says darkly.

"Maya, you know all men aren'!t the same! Look at Shawn, he has proven that he isn't going anywhere, and you know that," I run my fingers through her hair, causing her to sigh.

"And sure your father probably was a d**k and an ass hole, but I'm glad he didn't keep his d**k in his pants, because then I wouldn't have you," I say making us both giggle.

"He isn't worth your tears Maya, he is only a man, who f****d up pretty bad, and doesn't care about the mess he left behind. And you know what that makes him? A Loser," I say standing up. pulling Maya with me.

"So let's stop sulking and dance", I kiss her cheek making her giggle. I connect my phone to Maya's blue tooth speaker and play Havana by Camila Cabello.

"May I have this dance malady", I ask for Maya's hand, she gladly accepts and I pull her closer to me.

"What are you doing," she giggles.

"Just watch me baby girl," I kiss her cheek.

"Okay, so step back once with your right foot, then bring it back to its original position. keep your left foot in place. Then step once in place with your left, then step in place once with your right, then step forward with your left once, and bring it back to its original position. and repeat," I say showing her the steps.

"Like this?" She asks, before doing what I just did.

"exactly", I smile and take her hand and we dance together, laughing and listening to the music, forgetting about all of our problems for a little while. for that moment, nothing else existed, it was just me and Maya. I decide to spice things up a little and spin Maya and catch her in my arms, making us both giggle. I lean down and kiss her.

"I love you so much y/n," she says staring lovingly into my eyes.

"You have the key to my Hart, mi Amor," I reply before capturing her lips into another kiss.
