In the minivan, Sean sat alone in the front. Michael and Sheridan cuddled in the back. “Are you all right?” Sean asked his sister. Sheridan sighed, swallowed hard and answered. “Yes. I'm just tired and pregnant. You of all men should know what that looks like in a woman.” “I do,” he replied mildly. Sheridan gasped. “I'm sorry, Michael. I didn't mean to blurt that out.
