CHAPTER 8 Michael didn't sleep particularly well Sunday night. After two nights of Sheridan's lush body twined around his, the bed had never felt so lonely. It made him want to reconsider his decision to live separately during the week, but he knew such feelings were treacherous. We have a long way to go before such a commitment is appropriate. I really do want to marry Sheridan someday, and such a goal is worth a short-term sacrifice.
