It did for once. She drove home, still a little shaken from the force of the desire Michael had lavished on her. Shaking her head, she muttered to herself, “I knew Michael was a man of great, dark passion. His poetry says so, and I could read it like a book, but I never imagined what it would be like to have it unleashed on me full-force.” Well, she had imagined, but she hadn't come close to grasping the truth. “I sowed the wind and sure enough reaped a whirlwind I wasn't prepared for… but I don't mind. Being desired beyond reason is lovely. I wonder what the future will bring.” Her intense musings brought her right to the parking garage of her apartment, where her Buick released its hold on running with a deep groan and an unnerving rattle.
