It was 9:30 in the morning. Akankash had just woken up and was now glued to the television, restlessly flipping between Bollywood and Kannada music. This was something of a daily habit - watching music channels after waking up. Jeevan typically had busy mornings as he would get ready for work. He’d take a bath, shave his beard, iron clothes, polish shoes, organize his bag, pack his lunch, fill his water bottle and so on.
