Evergreen Crush

After a few days it was annual sports day tournament of school. Neither of them were good at sports, except Dip.And they never were interested.

On the other hand Dip was quite good at football and was learning swimming secretly . His father did not let me play football except in school.And had no idea about his swimming class.

Evergreen offers this kind of free sports class so that students who are not academically brilliant , can get scholarships easily.

It was kind of mandatory for all students to participate in at least in one event. Evergreen had so many events . I just have to say too many events.

But the most awaited one was swimming.

Now the question is why?

It's because of the schools heart throb Mr. Ektar.

Almost every girl had a crush on him. He used to get letters each day. He was called the "Evergreen Crush". Some say even some teachers have a crush on him

? The reason? Have not seen him? Are you kidding me?

The height, the sculptured body, that perfect jawline and the perfect score in all of exams, so he was the God's favourite and it was his last year.??

Subho- the swim event? Why do we need to see it?

Nabo -Yeah just give it to him. (Pointing at Ektar)

Dip- sh! (Pressing his finger on lip) let me focus guys!

? Oh! Did I forget to tell you Dip was participating this year!!

Apparently he thought he could at least try. Almost 11 students participated in the 3rd category.

All were on the marks.... ready.... on your mark....get set (go)..

It was 100 meter freestyle.And their Pool was of 25 meter. So ,you have to be good at turns ! And 3 laps are to be done . Simple math ,right?

Almost Everybody was giving their best except Ektar. It was like so natural to him.

He took the first lap and with in a few moments completed the 2nd lap. None was even a bit close to him .

The whole stadium was shouting

Ektar ,Ektar ,Ektar... .... ... ....

chanting, some crying, some throwing kisses.?

On the other hand two people were not shouting.

Well they wanted to shout but the embarrassment was at another level considering how Dip was struggling out there

But even after that they tried shouting with their almighty little voice

-dip ..di.p..d..i..p.......

And it was the last lap of Ektar. And wooo hoooooooo.We got our bloody Champion.

He got out of water .But even water is refusing to leave him.?

His whole body is covered with droplets of water

Dip finished at the 7th position, well someone had to get that position.

When Dip he got out of the water with a lot of disappointment someone gave him a hand. He expected it to be either Nabo or Subho.

The hand grip was too tight. It was wet yet warm and cosy.

Dip - How did your hand become so wet? (without looking)

---Cause I was swimming just beside you. Did you not notice?

His eyes went wide.Almost instantly he looked at the face which was just in front of him.

The voice was too dominating but addictive.It was very authoritative.Some thing was there in his eyes that could burn you in seconds.

Dip-(Shaking his head and trying to focus because he was too focused on his eyes)?

Oh! I did. Congrats (taking his hand away)

Suddenly a bunch of girls ran beside him

-oh my god Eshak! what a race! Eshak, water?

-Esh...ak, I brought you juice. watermelon!! (patting her eyes)

Dip was too disgusted with all these. He doughed all and pushing the crowd he came out .

(Subh and Nabo ran to him )

Dip - Bullshit!?

Subho - that's just what you did there.

(Crossing his hand over his chest)??

Dip-No, I mean that boy and those girls.

Nabo- Because you are not like him?

Dip- No, because.......be ..cau ..se um... He is so strong ?

(hold his right hand and shaking it in pain). ??

Do they get to talk to each other again?

Where is that girl?
