On this Sunday morning, I find myself at the club with my family, lost in thoughts about what I was about to show my mermaid. It’s not just her I want to impress, but also my mother-in-law.
“May I ask what’s on your mind?” Sebastian asks, once we finish our match. “Your mind seems to be everywhere, except on the court.”
“I have better things to focus on watching you try and beat me.” I reply.
“I can see that. I’ve noticed you are in a very good mood today.”
“Let’s just say life is too beautiful to be bitter all the time,” I happily say. “And mermaids have a gift to take you to paradise in the middle of a disaster.”
