MY BAD MOOD

2848 Words
Gabriel In the car, Sebastian bombarded me with questions. “What happened there? And don’t say “nothing” because I won’t believe you.” “Nothing, those guys were getting on my nerves. They were trying to fool us the whole time. That Fermin guy looks like the typical opportunist who doesn’t care about anything except himself. And the so-called director was constantly trying to find ways on how to squeeze more money out of us.” “Except Dr. Geller, who couldn’t take her eyes or hands off you. I saw her giving you a piece of paper, which I bet has her number in it.” “She is imprudent, arrogant, annoying, and she is not the humblest person there is. I don’t know how she can be a doctor. Plus, I was uncomfortable with her hands on me the whole time and I can see she exploits her staff.” “That is true, what she was going to do with Lucia was unfair.” Now that he brought it up, I remember their conversation and how familiar they were. “Yeah, well you sure defended her well, didn’t you? You looked like close friends; do you know her?” I reprimanded him. “What’s with the tone?” he replies. “What tone?” “Like you are accusing me of something. And yes, I know her, but I won’t tell you how. Besides, I don’t think she recognized me, and Sabrina didn’t say anything.” “Sabrina knows her. What did she say?”, Well, how about that, my little sister knows the woman I’ve been searching all over for. “She said she is a good doctor, very dedicated to the kids, smart, etc. Why the sudden interest? Don’t think I didn’t notice the way you defended her and immediately ran after her. Plus, you still haven’t told me why you suddenly changed your mind back there.” “No interest, just curiosity. I just defended her the same way you did, although that rude lady can surely defend herself. I went after her because she didn’t thank us.” “Yes, she did. And since when do you care about that?” Since it is HER. ”You still haven’t told me why you suddenly changed your mind.” “Nothing changed my mind. It is just that I didn’t like anything I saw, and I wanted to ensure the staff wasn’t as opportunistic as the directors,“ I lied. “They are despicable, driving that hospital into the ground and exploiting their staff.” “Did you notice that they are taking over all the areas we are renovating exclusively for pediatricians? We are not even finished yet, and I can’t imagine what they will do once it is finished. The mere thought of it infuriates me.” I will not allow our investment in this to fall into the wrong hands. “We need to make sure the pediatricians occupy those areas and address the inadequacies in the Trauma Unit. They don’t have the necessary equipment to treat the children and their parents can’t afford it.” “This is a common occurrence, which is why Sabrina wanted to help that community, Sebastian affirms.” “It is a very dangerous neighborhood. That boy’s mom could be a fifteen-year-old single girl or his dad could be a criminal or just plain irresponsible. Life is tough and unfair for some while others who have everything complain constantly.” “What can I say Gabe, that’s life. Some are luckier than others.” “I want to help him. Here’s the plan: We’ll reconstruct that space, make it more spacious, brighter, and well-equipped. And if you ever call me Gabe again, I’ll punch you.” Everyone knows I’ve hated that nickname ever since I was a kid. “What? It’s a common nickname,” he insists. “You know I hate it.” My phone rings and the name on the screen is the last thing I need right now. “Hi Lucrecia”, Sebastian makes a disgusted gesture. “How have you been?” “Hey, just thinking about you. You haven’t called me lately, so I wanted to check in and see if maybe we could meet up,” she replies. “Well, if I recall correctly, the last time we met, you asked me to consider certain things that were on your mind and to call you when I made my decision. Since I haven’t changed my mind about it, I haven’t called you.” Women, who gets them. “Yes, but you don’t need to be so evasive, you could have called to see how I am doing and have fun like usual.” Women, they are crazy. “Let’s just say, I didn’t want to complicate things further. Besides, you were pretty clear about what you wanted.” “I still feel that way, but I still want to see you and spend time together. Why don’t we meet at our usual spot?” “I’m busy, Lucrecia. I am wrapping up a meeting and I need to swing by the office. I have a lot of work to do,” I explain, as I am not in the mood of dealing with a woman right now, “and I’d rather not discuss uncomfortable topics.” “We won’t talk about it. Let me know when you are free. Maybe I can help you unwind and relieve some of that stress.” Her offer is tempting. This woman can surely hit the jackpot, but I won’t give in this time. There is something more important I have in mind. “I’m sorry, I’m busy and I don’t want to keep you waiting. I have to go. See you.” I ended the call abruptly, not in the mood to deal with Lucrecia. “I am not even going to ask why she is calling. That spoiled brat is up to something. I don’t believe she is as cool as she seems. Especially after you turned her down,” Sebastian remarks. “She just misses me, and I can’t blame her. I am unforgettable,” I reply with a hint of pride. “You’re so cocky....,” we laugh. “Lucrecia is not up to anything; she just wants to give me some time to think about being in a serious relationship with her. That’s all.” “Do you really believe that? Are we talking about the same Lucrecia I know?” Sebastian questions, skeptically. “We will never see eye to eye when it comes to her.” “Petter, do you think I am exaggerating?” Sebastian asks him. ”That woman is a witch.” “All I know is she always gets what she wants,” Petter replies. “You see? Just be careful with her. I’d hate to say, ‘I told you so.’” We spend the rest of the way to the office in silence. I can’t stop thinking about Lucía. I still can’t believe how she just left me standing there, speechless and ignored, while other women vied for a little bit of my attention. What’s wrong with her? After finishing working at the office, I return home. My mood has not changed one bit. “Can I get you anything else, Sir?“ My dear Gloria inquired, always attentive to my needs. She has been my nanny ever since I was eight years old. She came to live with me ever since I moved out of my parents’ house. After Sebastian, she is the only one who understands me. “No thanks, Gloria. I’m good. Go get some rest.” “Are you sure? Ever since you came home from the office you’ve been locked up in the study. You’ve barely tried your food. If I didn’t know this was your favorite, I’d think you didn’t like it.” “Don’t even think about it, the food is delicious, Gloria. I’m just not hungry, that’s all.” Gloria chuckles. “Oh, my boy, I know what it is when a man has that attitude and it only means one thing: a woman.”, I smile discouraged, “If she can make your appetite go away, there must be something interesting about her.” “Get some rest, Gloria,” I urged her to retire for the night. “It is getting late.” I locked myself in the study again, immersed in paperwork and other things trying to distract my thoughts from the rude young lady. Despite my efforts, my mind kept drifting back to the same place; Melithes Kerls Hospital. The neighborhood, the streets, its dangers, that innocent boy and Lucia; my rude Lucia. I find myself thinking: how does she get there? Does she have a car? Where does she live? With whom? Isn’t she scared to go there? Who is the guy she was talking to? Some many questions I’ve never wondered about a woman, much less a stranger. I have to change my thoughts, so I finally pick up the phone and dial: “Dr. Geller," she answers. “Hi, it’s Gabriel.” A couple of drinks and good s*x will definitely make me forget about Lucia. A few hours later, I find myself knocking on Lucrecia’s door. She is the only one who can ease this turmoil in my mind, the only one who can distract me from Lucia. Evidently, Doctor Geller couldn’t do the job. After all, Lucrecia knows my ways and fetishes. “I must admit, I’m surprised you called, especially at this hour, "she remarks sarcastically and arrogantly. I am not in the mood for her nonsense. “If you want me to leave, then just say so, I’m not putting up with your drama, Lucrecia,” I state firmly as I abruptly enter her house, knowing my way around it. She leads me to the bar and gives me a drink. “Wow, what a temper, why are you in such a bad mood? Or better yet, what brings you to my humble home?” She questions, impertinently and I am not tolerating that. “I am not here for conversation, Lucrecia. If I wanted to talk, I wouldn’t be here, so take off your clothes and let’s do what we both enjoy most or I will find somebody else to do it, ” I demand bluntly. “Hey! You can’t just ignore me for weeks, hang up on me, and then show up expecting to have s*x with me. I am not an object, Gabriel,” she retorts. “Fine. I see I have come to the wrong place,” I declare. “I am leaving.” I know her well. I know she won’t let me go. If I enjoy having s*x with her, she enjoys it twice as much. We enjoy spending time together; it is pure lust. She wouldn’t pass up this opportunity. I know it. Lucrecia is just like every other woman. You just must know which buttons to push. As I turn to walk away, I hear the words I was expecting to hear: “Don’t take it so seriously. Of course, you are in the right place. But a little politeness, wouldn’t hurt, don’t you think? You are not usually such a jerk.” “Just take off your clothes and do what you know pleases me,” I instruct her, and she complies. She begins to undress, and there isn’t much to take off. Within seconds I am as hard as a rock. Her precise touch on my erection, and moving it up and down, has me on the brink of climax. “Oh yeah, I like it like that....” “What the hell, Gabriel! How dare you show up here like this?” What’s gotten into her now? “What the hell, are you crazy, Lucrecia? Why did you stop, all of a sudden?” “You have lipstick on your shirt, and you smell like perfume. Oh my God, you were just with another woman, and you dare come here demanding s*x! You are a stupid, insensitive bastard, womanizer! I can’t believe it!” “Cut it out, Lucrecia. Drop the drama. Don’t act all pure with me because it doesn’t suit you. It is not the first time I’ve done this. Besides, how many times have you jumped from one guy’s bed into mine within a couple of hours?” She is offended by my words. “Don’t act so surprised and offended. If I never mentioned anything, it is not because I didn’t notice, it is because I don’t care what you do with your life as long as you, please me. So cut the nonsense and give me what I came for or I am out of here.” “I just can’t believe your arrogance and lack of respect. What is with you today? This isn’t like you.” I may be crossing the line, but I need to get Lucia out of my head, it shouldn’t be this difficult. “Fine, I am sorry. I had a rough day. Aren’t you the one who tells me there is no other woman who can make me feel the way you make me feel? Well, here I am. Now if you are so ‘offended’, I’ll go. There are plenty of women out there, and I am sure I can find one who meets my needs.” Nothing works better than to hurt her ego, that’s the beauty of being similar. “NO ONE, do you hear me?” She responds, just as I expected she would. “No one can do it like I do. I am the best. I know what you like, and I will prove it. But let this be the last time you show up at my door like this. Next time, at least have the decency to shower first.” She throws herself at me and within seconds, her hands are exploring my body, her lips on my chest, my hands squeezing those firm breasts while I suck on her n*****s. She gets down on her knees and replaces her hand with her mouth and I just surrender to pleasure. This is what I wanted, what I needed. “God yes, deeper, suck me, bite me,” I am lost in ecstasy. I feel on the verge of exploding, “Ohhh just a little more…,” I pull her hair, and cumming in her mouth, intensely. “Lucia! OH God!” I cry out loud. “Lucia?” She asks. Jeez, I blurted out her name unintentionally. I gaze at her and notice the hurt and confusion in her eyes. “Did you just call me Lucia? You have crossed the line this time, Gabriel. I can overlook the lipstick on your shirt and perfume, but I will not tolerate being called another woman’s name”. Of all the things I’ve been through, this is the first time I called a woman by the wrong name, and twice in one night. At least I didn’t say her name out loud before, but this time it slipped, and I didn’t even realize it. “How dare you, Gabriel?” Lucrecia continues. “You never even say my name, actually you don’t say anything except, ‘yes’ ‘more’, ‘do like this’, ‘get on top’,’ lean over’. Never! No romance and much less say my name and now you say one and it isn’t mine! Who is she? Is she the one who you were with before coming here? Answer me!” “Calm down already!” She is hysterical. “It wasn’t intentional, I just lost control, that is all. She is nobody.” I usually don’t explain myself to anybody, but this time, I felt I had to, even though I am not being completely honest. “I’ve been under a lot of stress, ok. Come here” I said as I approached her and pinned her against the wall. “Don’t touch me! Don’t you dare!“ The advantage of knowing each other so well is that I know exactly how to make it right. Within moments, I had her cumming on my hands, screaming my name, then on my mouth, and finally on my d**k. We were going at it four hours. We did it in the living room, the bathroom, the bedroom until we were finally exhausted, and Lucrecia fell asleep. I have to confess; I couldn’t stop thinking about Lucia the whole time. I imagined it was her scratching my back, kissing me passionately, calling out my name, and making me c*m with her mouth, her hands, everything. What is wrong with me? This has never happened to me before. I’ve never imagined another woman while I was having s*x with someone, not even as a teenager. This woman must’ve cast some sort of spell on me.
