"I am not sure Riya. I'm totally confused by thinking about whether to go or not? I am not ready to face them." Kayish put his face between his palm.

"Kayish, she is your sister and you love her more than anyone. Right?"

He nodded his head like a child and Chewed his inner cheeks. He seemed nervous.

"If you don't go to the marriage, what will happen?" I asked grabbing the handful of popcorn and shoved into my mouth.

I am in his apartment watching horror movies even though I'm afraid of these bloodsuckers. But who cares when his hand hooked around my shoulder keeping my fear on the bay.

"Then she will disown me." he blankly stated without any emotions.

"Are you okay with that?" I asked turned around to look at him.

He gave me a look which says are you serious?. "Riya, how it could be okay if I lose the only blood relation I have? How could it make sense?"

"It will make insane," I replied

"Huh????"

"That means go and attend her marriage. I don't know what is your problem between you and your parents but don't hate them too much. They always do better for us."

"Not again." he warned and stood from the sofa. I grabbed his arm and pulled him down but he slipped and landed over me his both hands were either side of mine.

I placed my hand over his chest and heard his heavy heartbeat as equal to mine.

I blushed and looked away by realizing our intimate position but he grabbed my chin and forced me to look at his baby blue eyes which I don't know when I did start to fall for them.

I admired the beauty of his eyes while he brushed his finger through my chin and draw a circle through my jawline.

Electricity passed through my whole body when he caressed my bottom lips Parting them apart he asked my permission to go further.

I blushed and push aside all my negative thoughts which came to ruin our great moments.

"Riya, you know what, you are so beautiful more than anyone I met ever before and no one is perfect like you." He said huskily.

For a moment I wanted to grab his collar and kissed him like there is no tomorrow, instead, I pushed him away which resulted in he landed on the floor with a heavy thud.

"Owwwch!! What the hell Riya." he rubbed his back and playfully charged towards me.

"Ahhhh!!!" I screamed and started to run for my dear life. "Riya stop! Or else the consequences will be severe," he warned but I stick my tongue out and entered the kitchen.

Ohh, God! Why did I come here in the first place? It seems I gave him easy access to win over.

"Kayish no..."I screamed between the laughter when he was charged towards me.

I grabbed the nearby tin which I don't have any idea what was inside. I threw it on him and he drained fully by the flour.

I laughed richly clutching my stomach as he opened his eyes looking nothing but a vampire ghost.

"Kayi... Kayish you...hahaha....you exactly look like a ghost." I said between the laughter and my eyes searched the way to go outside.

"Oh really!" Then he grabbed the tin from the kitchen counter and threw it on me.

"See, now you look like a zombie in the movies which came out to haunt an innocent people." he pointed a finger at me and started to laugh like a maniac.

"Ohh really!" One by one we began to throw random stuff from one to another.

Finally, a red-colored tin landed over his head and he shrieked like a child jumping up and down.

Then I realized I had thrown a chilly powder on him. Eww! I ran towards him and helped him to walk near the tap.

He splashed the water over his face his eyes were still shut tightly.

"Are you okay?" I asked feeling guilty for the situation he was into.

"I think so." he then rubbed his eyes. "Shh!! Wait." I said and grabbed the towel from the table and started to wipe his eyes.

"Come sit here." I motioned him to sit on the couch but he held my waist by both his hands and pulled me towards his chest.

"Kayish what are you doing?" My voice came as a whisper.

"Shhh! Don't ruin the moments. Stay with me like this."

"Hugh!!"

"Stay with me like this forever Riya, I am happy whenever you are around with me. You are my family, my friend, and my life. Please be my girlfriend." he asked and I found myself nodding to his answer.

He smiled a genuine smile and brushed his lips against mine. I found myself responding to his kiss immediately by wrapping my hand around his neck. At first, the kiss was full of passionate and slow then we started to kiss like we are into fires.

Fireworks started to works into my body when he slipped his tongue and asked for permission which I granted him for opening my mouth.

His was devoured into mine making me feel like I'm in cloud nine and I want to stay like this but we both pulled away when we heard his phone ring.

It is really too much. He crossed his limit bringing his personal problems into professional life. He can't be serious. Truthfully, he is losing his name by showing his silly attitude.

Ohhh! God. Someone please give me a g*n and tell me how to kill him in one shoot.

He has assigned a lot of works to my team, even though it is not his place to do. Then why did he hire me as the position of project manager? I have no idea.

He was very well aware that It won't work when he gives me pressure as workwise, so he targeted my team and challenged me indirectly.

How we are going to finish all these papers in one day. We can't complete this work within a day, at least it will take one week.

"Miss. Kader, we have only finished half of the portion." Mr. Kane I assumed is a team leader informed me and I glanced at my wristwatch.

It's already passed 6 in the evening and I don't want to push them all. It's not their mistakes neither mine.

"Okay, submit them on my table, I will take care of this," I said rubbing my jaw thinking to solve the puzzle.

"But Miss. Kader..."

"It's okay Mr. Kane, we did our best. So don't be sorry." I gave him a polite nod to dismiss.

He gave me a small smile and set the file on my table then walked out of my office. I mentally groaned and picked the file from the table.

After checking the entire file, I walked into his office and set the file on his table.

"Already?" He raised his brow surprisingly, not believing his own eyes.

"We have finished half of the work and will complete the remaining papers by tomorrow." I boldly said to him.

"Miss Kader, I am not paying you for free and didn't ask any of your opinion or complaints. If I give some work that means you must have to finish them in time," he said harshly.

"Don't you think you are way too harsh towards my employees? I don't think you can able to finish the two sets of papers by today?" I said folding my arms against my chest.

"What if I fire all your team members just pointing the reason for lack of knowledge?" He asked ignoring my statement completely.

My mouth hung opened when I heard him say firing about my employees. "You are doing this purposely, I know that" I spat him.

"Then try to save your employees." he smirked and handed me a file. "I want this tomorrow morning on my table." he sternly said and took his seat.

Hugh! How badly I wanted to glue him on the chair. Can anyone please give me a superglue.

I gave him one last glare and stormed out of his office. When I reached my office, all my employees were stood in front of the door.

They were wearing a pure shock expression on their face while a few people were shivering visibly.

I furrowed my brows and approached them. "Why are you still here, you can leave."

"What if we get fired?" One of my employees asked.

"Hugh! How did you know." I asked in disbelief.

"Our boss emailed us. If we don't complete the work by tomorrow morning, he will replace our place with other employees." His eyes were almost glossy when he spoke.

"I have a family to run, so this job is so important," he added.

I let out a long breath. "I know how everyone is depending on your job." I tried to comfort them.

I thought for a bit and an idea came into my mind. "Are you willing to work for the whole night?" I asked expecting their answer as my favor.

"Yes." they all said in unison. "Okay then, come to my apartment. We will work together and have a nice dinner." I winked at them.

Their face lit up with happiness as hope-filled their mind. It's been one month since I am working in this office and they are very supportive even though I am younger than them.

They seek my opinion even before they make a decision. They have supported me through my up and downs and it's my time to return my favor.

"Alright, guys! Let go." With that, we all headed to my apartment.

My apartment is not fit for fifteen members, somehow they managed and did their work peacefully. No complaints, no lamentations.

When we get bore, we cracked some silly jokes to get rid of the sleep and again went back to our work.

Sweety was so understanding, she didn't disturb us. She played with other kids in the apartment and came at night to sleep.

Miss. Jaden helped me to cook and we enjoyed our team dinner in my apartment.

I fed Sweety and she went to sleep by herself. Everyone admired Sweety and her behavior.

Somehow we finished our work at 6.30 in the morning. "Okay, guys! Let's meet in the office."

They bid their goodbyes and went back to their home. I glanced at the wall clock and a small sigh escaped from my mouth. Only one hour I have to sleep. I fell asleep on the couch once my head hit the pillow.

When I reached my office I met all my team members and thanked them personally. They all have a bright smile on their face like they achieved something.

"Okay, guys! Let see, what will happen." Some gave me a thump up and smiled genuinely.

I entered his office and set the file on his table. "Mr. Miller as you asked we have completed our work. Here the files." I point the file which I placed on his table.

He took the file and flipped the first page then closed it. "I assure you that you will never find any mistakes," I said proudly.

"Miss. Kader, Take this." He gave me a green color file. "This is your new project. You and your team members are going to work on this." What nonsense he is talking.

"And forget about this." he returned the file to me that I placed on his table. "Because I already gave this to another team."

"What?" I shouted.

I stood from my place. "This is too much. We worked hard to finish this project and now you can't tell us what to do." I spat him angrily.

"You maybe the project manager here, but I am the boss. You have to learn your place and obey me. Got it." He said annoyingly.

He treats me like a trash as I'm some sort of waste paper, not in use. He pokes his nose into my job and play a project manager role and finally order me to follow his shitty things.

Urggh! I have started to hate my job, I mentally groaned but I'm not going to accept my defeat that easily.

I masked my face as natural and smiled brightly showing my perfect teeth not wanting to show him how broken I am inside.

"Of course! we will do. After all, that was a useless project," I said keeping my tears on bay standing there with a broken heart.

"Miss. Kader if you don't mind please throw them on the dustbin, there is no use to keep the file." he said pointing the old file.

"Do by yourself," I said and walked out of his office stabbing him ten times on my mind.
