***CRYSTAL’S P.O.V***
I woke up with my mom’s phone call. I looked at it and then just got shocked. Looking at the time, s**t man how I will reach there I will.
I got up from bed and then got ready as fast as I could. I took a cab and then on my way I stopped at a cafe for coffee. I need that very much.
I got out of the cab and went inside in a hurry. “What can I have you, mom mom?”
“One cappuccino,” I said. She went there, took the money from me and then gave me my cappuccino. I took it and then turned around and bumped into someone.
I was in such a hurry that only one thing came out of my mouth: “Sorry.”
As I took a step forward, I realised that I had just stepped into his phone. s**t man “I am so sorry for your loss.”
I just said that and then went out of the cafe, I took a cab and made my way to the one and only Diana Publication.
I got out of the cab and then looked at the building. God was just one. The whole new world. It was a dream for me to come here and to be a part of it.
I took a deep breath and then stepped inside. I was such a mess. I went to reception and then asked her.
“Hello, I am here for an interview with Mr.Liam.”
“Mam, can I know your name?”
“Crystal.” She checked on her screen
“You have to go to the 9th floor.”
“Thanks.” 3 days ago I got a call from my mother that her boyfriend had arranged an appointment for me in Diana publications.
They had both been dating each other for 2 years, but she never told me before last week when she came to my house and told me about him.
It has been 11 years since Dad was not with us. He just left us without even one. The word was that all, alone, Mom was taking care of us.
If she is with someone, then I am happy. I am more than happy for her. She needs to have that also.
I have to meet her boyfriend today. She wants me to meet him. I hope that I will be good with him.
I stopped thinking as the door opened, I stepped out of the elevator and then made my way inside. No one was there. God, this is so classy.
There was this huge glass wall in front of me and just a. Desk and chair
“Is anyone here?”
No one said anything. I was able to look at myself in the glass. I went there and saw my face s**t I was glad that no one was there.
I took out my lipstick, and then put it on, I looked at my t-shirt, opened a few of my buttons and then fixed my bra.
Great, now I am looking fine. I fixed my hair perfectly. I was just looking at myself when the door opened and then he came out.
Shit I got scared and started to sweat as I saw him. He is the same man whose mobile and whose T-shirt s**t why it has to be had
“Hello Ms..” I was not saying anything at all. I just can’t even think about anything, it’s like my brain is paused
“I asked you something.” I, zoomed out. I went out of it and then I saw him. He was standing so close to me.
“What?” I questioned him.
“What’s your name?”
“Crystal I came here for.”
“Interview right so this is how you go for interviews.” What does he mean? I was not able to understand anything at all. He smirked and then came close to me. I was just looking into his eyes.
“I didn’t get anything.”
“I was not saying anything at all, okay, by the way, you have a nice name and you have nice skills for spoiling someone’s phone or breaking someone’s mobile.”
I don’t know what to say now. Yes. I did that s**t how can I be so stupid? I broke someone’s phone and spilled coffee on the same guy and the same guy is the one who's gonna take my interview.
“Actually I was just getting late, so I just.” He got more and more closure
“Will you be able to pay back for that?” He said, then I looked at him.
“Umm actually uhhh.”
“From now on you are my executive assistant.” I looked at him with shock, which I thought that he will not even hire me, but he just did that.
“But sir, you never wanted someone to be in this position.” I said" s**t stuff, I just say stuff when I should not have to.
He turned around and then looked at me.
“But now I want it,” he said. It was more like a command. I just can’t believe this at all, that it just happened. I got a job at Diana publication. It’s like more closure towards your dream.
“Okay sir.”
“Is 15000$ gonna be enough for you?” I widened my eyes as I heard that had 15000 I had never earned this much. How come?
“What 15000$.”
“Yeah, is this less?”
“No, not at all. I mean it’s a lot woman, thank you,” I said, as he was just about to say something. A women came.
“Sir, your meeting is in.” She said it, then he just said
“I don’t want it. I want you to cancel all of my meetings for today.”
“But, sir, they are.”
“I know who they are and if they want to do that with me, then they will come again.”
He said and then she just nodded at him and then left. “So as I was saying, I am completely free now, so I can tell you what you have to do if you have any meetings or any commitments for tonight.”
“Yes sir I.”
“Cancel it.” He said," I can’t." I have to meet him. Today Mom wants me to meet the one whom she wants to marry. Now what will I do now?
“But sir.”
“No, but you are my executive assistant, so you have to be there with me if you got that and tonight it’s some family sort of dinner and you have to be there.” He said" I don’t have any choice at all, then I have to go there then.
“So, have you thought about how you will pay me for my phone?”
“Yes sir, I will pay you back.” He widened his eyes. Then smirked.
“You are sure that you will be able to pay me back.” He asked me again?
“Yes sir I will do that.” I said, I have to do that. His phone was broken because of me.
“It’s about 8million dollars you think that you will be able to pay for that,” he said. What the hell? I just could not believe that at the time.
“But how will I pay?”
“It’s a special addition to the iPhone. The best designer designed it for me from pure gold and diamonds.” He said that for shot that I will never be able to pay for it for the rest of my life.
“Sir I will umm.”
“Then do as I say, be my executive assistant and follow my instructions. That’s all that I want.”
“OK sir.” I said. Then he told me his day scheduled and everything at all. I looked at him and it was done.
“Now go and get ready, for tonight I will come and pick you up.” I nodded at him and then made my way towards the elevator. Right now I have to tell mom about it that I can’t come today.
I got out of the elevator and called her
On phone call
“Hey, how did it go? Did you get the job?”
“Yes mom, I got it, but there is just a problem that I can’t come tonight.”
“But why”. I don’t like to hurt her
“You have to go to a meeting with my boss, so I just can’t come.”
“So you have already joined. I am very happy because that is great.”
“Sorry mom, I won’t be able to do anything. I won’t be able to come tonight,” I said.
“It’s okay now. Don’t think about it at all. Just relax now, go and focus on your work, okay, bye sweetheart.”
“Bye mom.”
END OF PHONE CALL
I smiled at them and then went to the, can I sat there and then went back home. As soon as I got there, I lay down on my bed. I had just got Diana publications
I just can’t believe this at all. I am just. It’s unbelievable.
