I groggily opened my eyes and checked the caller ID"Raphael ?"my long time best friend. Deciding to go have my bathe before choosing an attire,checking the time I saw that it was past 5,I quickly rushed into the bathroom shaved,had my bathe and did all the necessary. Coming out of my room I met Anjola on my bed,she had already picked the Brallete,jean jacket and jean shorts with sneakers for me. She looked at me and said"Hmm Ike Ike,what is the occasion where are you going to?"she asked,I told her where I was going,She have me a mischevious smirk and said the whole thing of being careful and all. I quickly took my phone and checked time,time was 5:57pm.i left my room immediately and went downstairs but not without checking myself one more time. Getting downstairs,Anjola was seated watching TV I ran out and said my goodbyes,she ran after me demanding to take pictures,I quickly explained to her that I might not be able to come home tonight

"Have fun and take your time,brother ini is not coming home till tomorrow evening,just make sure you come home before then.. Becareful"

Dashing out of my compound I sited Raphael's car Highlander V6.The voice I heard made me laugh"Babe omo you look hot as f**k"Mofe said,my other friend,by the way I have 4 major friends, Raphael,Mofe,segun and Bamike..Mofe is idiotic and flirty,Handsome in his own way,but not my spec,Segun and Raphael both took turns in complimenting me,I dramatically twirled and appreciated their compliments,I got in the car and we left for the club

The drive to Quilox was quite short and fast as Raphael was driving at an high speed,I was quite disappointed that Bamike couldn't make it because I was the only female not that it was an issue as I'm quite used to it and I enjoy make company than females. Raphael pulled up at the.club,we all got down and entered I immediately clung to Mofe as I was feeling extremely shy and conscious of myself,We were escorted to a VIP lounge which was where the party was .On enetering the lounge I realised my jacket wasn't on me,I remembered that I left it in the car..I was about going to take it when Raphael called me and ushered me to meet some of his friends that I unfortunately don't know,they all looked way older than him,I recognized one as Ayoola, Segun's brother the celebrant, immediately I greeted him and wished him a joyful birthday and said series of prayers for him,I was cut off with laughter's from all of them except one who was busy with his phone and series of giggling from the girls seated with them,a particular girl that sat next to the oblivious Greek God gave me a once over look filled with disgust and I instantly felt conscious of myself,I was embarrassed as I thought they were laughing at me.

One of the guys then spoke up and said"I'm afraid there might have been a mix up,i'm the celebrant,my name is Timini Johnson,a very big amen to your prayers and wishes thank you so much I really appreciate it"I was shocked, Raphael told me it was Segun's brother that was the celebrant I immediately looked everywhere for him but I found no one not one of the three of them I realized I was left alone with this strangers,realizing that I was already taking too long replying him he said"Excuse me, what's your name?" The one next to him who has been furiously typing in his phone like he wanted to murder the person he was chatting with hasn't even spared me a glance not that I care but courtesy demands,I greeted him he didn't reply me so I greeted him again for the last time I already made up my mind not to greet again if he doesn't acknowledge me,he still didn't the the lady beside him said"Can't you see he is busy and clearly doesn't have your time,stop throwing yourself at him it makes you look more pathetic than you already are"WTF I was literally stunned, embarrassed,pissed and every other negative emotion there was I was feeling it,I heard voices reprimanding her,I caught her name "Sameera"I recognized her as the one that gave me the look of disgust the other time she is indeed beautiful but her behavior is nasty.
