Gone in the wind,
keep on singing,
it will be alright.
Pain in your eyes,
the world wasn't kind,
but at this point
you don't mind
no more.
You will find
your way.
Putting your head
up in the air,
it seems only fair,
that life should go,
your way now,
after that pain.
You know the drill,
know your skills
and the lack thereof.
At the beginning
after it all
came crashing down
you fell
so low,
thought you would never
get up again.
But here you are,
you stood up,
you didn't move far.
There is blood still
on your fingers,
but you will
not be defeated.
Feeling the cold breeze
on your skin,
what a lovely sin.
Getting up.
Again and again.
Refusing to go down
you know now
you are worth something,
you deserve better,
then to be ignored.
You stored
all your anger
and pain.
You did so,
until you found out
that you deserve better
better, then being better.
So many days wasted,
fuming and raging,
wailing and crying.
Now you know,
that there is no point
in vengeance,
no point in all the anger
and rage.
Holding your head up high,
you face the coldest,
the longest
night.
