A New Chapter

As they said their goodbyes, the man handed her a piece of paper with his phone number on it. "I'd love to see you again," he said.

Sophie felt a flutter in her heart as she took the paper. She wasn't sure if she was ready to move on from her true love, but she knew that she owed it to herself to try.

One day, as they walked along the riverbank, the man turned to her and said, "Sophie, I know we haven't known each other for very long, but I feel like I've known you forever. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Sophie, will you marry me?"

"Yes," she whispered, throwing her arms around him. "Yes, I will marry you."
