Ivy's POV
Daniel just stood there staring at me.
It could have been everything that happened in the few days.. Maybe it was the way things had gotten out of control so fast. I think it was because I knew I was not alone anymore. I have someone like Sebastian Hale in my corner now. People like Daniel could sense it.
Daniel finally spoke up. "You really think you can just walk away from this?" he asked, his voice low. "Do you even know what kind of trouble you are in?"
I stayed calm. And I replied, "I know exactly what I am dealing with. What I do not understand is why you think I would give you fifty million dollars just because you showed up here with threats."
My cousin wanted fifty million dollars to save his dads company. I was not going to let him blackmail me.
