Matthew pushed Jessica back softly, his eyes were pinned in Paola’s eyes.

‘‘What are you doing here?’‘

‘‘I, I came to thank Matthew’‘

‘‘I am very happy you came, you were the first person I wanted to give the news to’‘

‘‘What news?’‘

‘‘Matthew and I, we are couple’‘

She looked into Matthews eyes, she immediately started pushing with the tip of her tongue her teeth, the mechanism that was saving her all the time when she wanted to cry.

‘‘Congratulations guys’‘

‘‘Thank you, babe’‘

Matthew didn’t speak a word, he was looking at his shoes, if anyone would look at him that moment would believe that he did something wrong

‘‘Oh, my baby got shy’‘ she said and she grabbed his head kissing him harder than before, Paola put her hands almost mechanically on the wheel chair and reversed.

‘‘I gotta go, I will see you on Monday at school’‘

‘‘You are not coming tonight at Baileys?’‘

‘‘If I feel better, I will, bye’‘

‘‘Better from what?’‘ she didn’t reply to her but she turned again back

‘‘Thanks Matthew, just wanted you to know that it was highly appreciated’‘

Dor helped her to get inside the car. Soon after the door closed, warm tears were running from her face, it hurt so much to see her kissing him, now they were together, she knew it would happen, deep inside she was expecting to see it, what she didn’t know was that it would hurt that much.

The daylight was fading in the sky, it should have been 7 or 8 at night when she hurt the knock on her door.

‘‘Go away Nana, I told you twice that I am not hungry’‘ the door knocked again

‘‘Leave me alone!’‘ The door opened and it was him, she was sitting on her bed with a pile of tissues and her legs wide open, mascara dripping from her face. She wanted the earth to open and her to hide in it.

‘‘Switch the light off’‘

‘‘I knew you would be crying’‘

‘‘Can you admit for just one time your real feelings?’‘

‘‘You have a very big heart, decided to give her a chance!’‘ she said mocking at him

‘‘Will you tell me why you came today?’‘

‘‘Liar’‘ She saw him looking at her legs, her dress went up, she tried to pull it down but the way she was siting was not helping

‘‘I think is time for you to leave, your girlfriend wouldn’t like to see you here, neither the fact that  you are complimenting another woman’‘

‘‘Woman? a girl I would say’‘

‘‘f**k you Matthew, f**k YOU’‘

He went next to her and grabbed her face with both his hands, she turned her face and tried to push his hands down but he was stronger than her, she was so upset that he was with Jessica, still his hands holding her face, his perfume was making her dizzy, his touch was giving her goosebumps.

‘‘Ask me to kiss you’‘

‘‘Leave me alone’‘ his lips were almost touching hers

‘‘Tell me that you want me to kiss you’‘

‘‘I want you to f**k off’‘ she wanted to piss him off, she wouldn’t give him the satisfaction to ask for his kiss, she was hoping that he would kiss her with or without her consent, she was waiting for it, she was breathing heavily. He pulled his hands back

‘‘Where are you going’‘

‘‘Back to my house’‘

‘‘You will just leave?’‘

‘‘You want me to beg you Paola?’‘
