Five Morning seemed to come earlier than usual, at least to Joshua, yet he felt refreshed. He rolled over and looked at the clock. It read nine am. He frowned as he stared at it. He remembered climbing into bed late, but not much after that. Had he set the alarm last night and turned it off in his sleep? That had happened a time or two. He laid there thinking, then remembered that he hadn't set the damn thing. He smiled ruefully. Good thing he was the boss. He got up, showered and dressed in fresh jeans and a pullover sweater in dark blue. Summer was almost over. After combing his hair and pulling on the cowboy boots he normally wore, he headed out to the kitchen for coffee.
