Nine Later in the day, April enjoyed lunch on the patio facing the sea. She had it all to herself. Thomas and Holly had gone on a bus trip for the day into Crescent City and wouldn’t be back until late. Well, late for them. Both tended to go to bed at ten or so. April sipped her coffee quietly and smiled to herself. She was actually enjoying this trip. Half of her tuna on toast that she had gotten for lunch still sat on her plate.
