I decided to put my troubles with Arlo behind me and enjoy the night. We were having fun and laughing as we danced.
I had to excuse my self to the bathroom. Whilst washing my hands my phone beeped with a message. There were two photos. My breath hitched in my front as I clicked on the first. It was Arlo smiling in the gym at a girl. She is very beautiful. She is standing close to Arlo with her hand on his arm. I swallow hard as I swipe to the next photo. Arlo and the same girl in a corridor of the castle. He is gifting her a bracelet.
Then my phone beeps with a video. It is only a few seconds long but that is enough. Arlo roughly pushes the same girl against the wall as they engage in a passionate kiss.
My heart is again under his foot. How many times will he break it?
