Nova’s Pov
“We are going to be late!” I shout to Max as I sit on the bed.
He hurries in with my shoes in hand and drops to his knees before me. He helps slide my feet into the sandals and fasten them. My damn belly is too big to bend down.
“Stop huffing,” he laughs. “You don’t have long left now, my babies are almost ready.”
I stick my tongue out at him.
“Come on now, hurry.” We make our way downstairs and into the car.
“See you soon, Alpha, Luna.” Yorke says before changing his voice. “See you soon my little nieces.”
“Nephews,” Max snaps at him.
I roll my eyes at them both. “Shut up, both of you. Bye Yorke.” I shut the car door so he can’t say anything else.
