The only hold on my anger is Nova’s hand tucked tightly into mine. As we approach the barn I spot several girls eyeing me. I send a glare in their direction before continuing.
“Hey Arlo,” Miles waves us over and is standing with a few other guys.
I drag Nova over with me and she doesn’t protest.
“What’s up?” I nod to them all.
“Congratulations on your engagement,” Griff says with a sly grin.
“Oh yeah, congrats to you both,” Austin agrees with a clap on my back.
“Thank you,” I say as I pull Nova in front of me and wrap my arm around her. “My beautiful fiancée will be sitting with us tonight.” I lean down and kiss her cheek.
They all look surprised, so I raise my eyebrow at them.
