Chapter Six
Keir and Regal walked out of the portal and began to free fall. Regal easily caught the air with his wings, flying down through the clouds below them. He shot past Keir, who had been caught off-guard and was tumbling through the air as he tried to catch the wind. Regal laughed as he dive-bombed through the blanket of clouds.
Regal sighed with a relaxed smile. He opened his wings again and let the draft pull him up so he glided gently. He turned and looked up toward the crescent moon that was beginning to set. The lunar cycle was beginning, and Regal was at his strongest. He knew he would have to act fast and plan on placing his sins on Keir before the full moon. Then he would be weaker, possibly too weak to do any lasting damage to Keir.
