Alana looked at Quinn; she was so angry. “Why did you let her go?”
“She said she had to get back. I left her to change, and as you know when you went to see her she was gone.” Quinn wasn’t happy with the turn of events. He knew Alana would stop at nothing to get Hope to stay, but he felt Hope had changed her mind about staying and he wasn’t sure what Alana would do to ensure she did stay. He knew he had to be careful. Quinn still got an uncomfortable feeling when he thought about why Akira died; it was like she had just given up.
