Hope hugged Grace and smiled.
“I’m sure I’ll be fine,” said Hope.
Hope waved and left, but Grace was so worried she decided to go see Rose. Rose had the same misgivings as Grace, and knew no good would come of this if Hope wasn’t careful in her dealings with Alana. Rose asked Grace to reach out to Hope as she had done before. This way Grace would know if anything was wrong with Hope and they could rescue her before it was too late.
Hope was walking through the village with a smile on her face. For the first time in a long time she knew what she wanted and where her path would lead. She was delighted. She knocked on the door at Armstrong House and Alana answered. Seeing the warm glow of happiness on Hope’s face Alana assumed she had decided to go with her to An Cala.
