CHAPTER 6
Amelia sat in the living room hoping her granddaughter would come and see her, but as time went on she suspected she wasn’t coming. Amelia was trying to think why Alana told her and how she found out in the first place. Yes, someone in the village could’ve told her, but Amelia doubted it as most people here had probably forgotten all about it by now. She knew Kathleen and Donald wouldn’t mention anything. So who? Amelia decided to go visit Alana and find out. As luck would have it Amelia met Alana in the village.
“Just the person I wanted to speak to,” said Amelia. The anger in her voice was obvious, even though she had tried to hide it.
“What can I do for you, Amelia?” said Alana, sounding very defensive.
“How did you find out about Hope’s father?” asked Amelia, trying very
