I hadn't heard the entire conversation but I heard enough of it last night. I expected Garrett's attempts at winning Ivy but admittedly, Damien making his move on her surprised me. I deeply dislike surprises.
The rest of the night passed by in a blur - I couldn't sleep, as per usual, but unlike other times when I simply dove into whatever work needed to be done the next day, I found myself unable to focus on anything other than Ivy.
