James Everlyn didn’t say much on the drive over to the meeting with Samson. She watched out the window with a content smile on her face. I yearned to know what she was thinking in that moment. But she didn’t share with me and I didn’t ask. I’m not entirely sure I’d like whatever it was after our visit with Lily. I wanted to hear what Samson has found on Gloria before I can forgive any of this craziness. Samson joined us in the conference room and carried in a black briefcase.
