“I don’t think two weeks before you’re due is a good time to take you off bedrest,” the doctor said with a sigh. “You’re almost there. The last two weeks will be most crucial. You will literally be ready to pop at any moment.”
“You’re killing me!” I growled at him. “I cant stand sitting around and doing nothing.”
“Mrs. Sawyer, your body is about to go through a big change,” he started to say and I couldn’t help the rude the noise that escaped my throat as I rolled my eyes.
“About to? ABOUT TO?” I started raising my voice and pointed at my huge round belly covered in goo. “I’d say that’s been a big change this whole damn time.”
“Nova,” Jack chided me. “You need to stop being so rude.”
“I cant help it,” I grumped. “I’m so uncomfortable and sitting in bed all damn day does not help
