Seeing Nova and Everlyn get along like fast friends was incredible. I don’t know why I had been so nervous for them to meet, but I knew I’d have nothing to worry about. I can’t wait for Nova to become a mother and to meet my grandson. Everything would be perfect if it weren’t for Andrew and Everlyn’s father.
Everlyn has been with me for two days and he’s called her at least twenty-five times; fluctuating between yelling at her and sobbing uncontrollably. I feared the doctor and his wife weren’t doing so well with the current situation. But Everlyn has been strong and will hang up when he gets belligerent or speak kind words to make him stop weeping. The only consistent thing he has done was hate me.
“He won’t even give him a chance,” Everlyn complained to Nova who
