It’s been over three weeks since Hilton had come to visit me. I know he’s been busy with my research, but I had hoped for an update by now. Jamie wasn’t involved with the research part of Jones labs so she couldn’t tell me much. I was glad that I could see her often though, I didn’t feel so lonely in this place.
“Hey how’s my favorite patient today?” She asked with a smile when I approached the nurse’s station for med time.
“Happy to see you,” I said. “Have you heard anything from Hilton? Or Bradley? Trial starts next week.”
“I think Hilton is supposed to come for a visit today,” she said. “He had a breakthrough.”
