“What?” he said. “How do you know?”
“My heat,” I said and showed him the phone. “My heat was supposed to start last week, but I never even felt it. I’ve been so stressed out and busy with the wedding that I didn’t even think about checking when my heat was going to be. The time you let your tiger out, that was the first day of my heat.”
“Oh,” he said, and his eyes popped open wider. “Well, I guess that explains why he came to the surface like that, I guess. Doesn’t excuse me hurting you though. But…oh.”
“Oh,” I repeated. “We’re pregnant Jack.”
I looked up at him and tried to read his face. He just looked at me shocked for a few seconds before his face burst into a bright grin and he hooted loudly; causing me to jump in surprise. He laughed hard and scooped me again
