“Two dates in a week?” Samson chuckled. “She must be something special.”
“Yeah,” I said with a smile. “She makes me feel things I haven’t since Lily.”
“Wow, I’m happy for you,” he said. “How’s Nova handling it?”
“She keeps asking questions,” I chuckled. “She really wants to meet her.”
“Well don’t keep it a secret for too long,” he replied. “You know her and her curiosity.”
“Yeah, it’s almost gotten her killed a few times,” I sighed. “But I need to talk to you about something, in private?”
