“You’ll never believe what happened,” Nova announced as she came through the door and turned to Jack expectantly. He smiled down at her.
“So we went to pick up Lily,” Jack said. “And when she came out, she had a friend with her, and it was Danny. Well, Dylan now.”
“What?” I cried out and immediately regretted it as Jaxen began to cry.
“James!” Everlyn groaned from the bedroom. “I just got him down.”
“Sorry,” I called out. “You’re not going to believe this, Ev. Jack found his brother!”
“What?” she cried out causing Jaxen to cry out again. Nova chuckled to herself and went back to the bedroom to help out Everlyn.
