By the time we returned to the program, my brain felt like mush. I had been thinking in circles about Scott and Dylan. I excused myself from dinner tonight and spent some quality time in my room; reading or playing games on my phone. It was nice to have some quiet time to myself.
While I played on my phone, I got a text from Nova asking me how I was doing. I told her that it’s been a day, but I was managing and asked about her. I loved being able to talk with Nova now and felt that we were well on our way to rebuilding our relationship. She hadn’t been able to come for coffee due to the lockdown, but she asked if she could come by for a visit tomorrow since we weren’t allowed community time.
I double checked with Jeff, who said it was perfectly fine, and let her know. S
