“No…” I said, pulling my hands away from her. “I won’t accept that.”
“Liam’s body is still safe in the hospital. He’s being cared for by the best doctors. He still has a chance to return to it,” Sebastian explained.
She still looked uncertain though.
“Time here is different,” she said. “You can be here a few days in the underworld, but years will go by on your land. There are no rules when it comes to stuff like that. It’s whatever Xander wants. You don’t know what you’re returning to.”
Sebastian was quiet because he knew firsthand that she was right. I still couldn’t accept that though; I wasn’t going to give up on my brother.
