As planned, Ana was now in the hotel's living room. She sat in a dim corner, sipping the milk she had ordered. The room was quiet, and the only sound was the rustling of the magazine she was reading. Ana glanced at her watch. It was ten o'clock in the evening, signaling that the dinner meeting between the two companies was nearing its end.
Ana stared at the large window next to her, attempting to remain calm, though the calmness was merely a facade. Her anxiety was palpable, with a torrent of thoughts swirling in her mind.
She had carefully calculated the odds of intercepting the CEO. Despite knowing the risks, Ana was determined not to let this opportunity slip away. The potential profit from the successful execution of her plan was substantial. However, she was acutely aware of the severe consequences if she failed. Ana knew she was risking everything.
The older CEO was named Helios. He had arrived with his secretary, and they walked calmly toward the elevator, unaware that they were being watched by a pair of sharp eyes poised for action. Ana steeled herself and gathered all her courage. As soon as the elevator doors closed, she moved swiftly into the hallway.
The silence of the hallway worked to Ana's advantage. Her movements were precise as she struck a waitress preparing a pushcart. The blow was forceful enough to render the waitress unconscious.
Ana scanned the hallway to ensure there were no witnesses. Satisfied that the coast was clear, she dragged the maid to the nearest restroom and locked the door. Quickly, she changed into the maid’s uniform she had taken from the unconscious woman. After adjusting the uniform to fit her, Ana checked her reflection in the mirror. The uniform fit perfectly, and she felt a surge of satisfaction.
Ana approached the cart she had brought with her. She poured the powdered sleeping pills into the teapot and stirred it gently. Once the mixture was ready, she made her way to the CEO's room. She knocked on the door and said politely, "Excuse me, I have brought the drinks you ordered."
When Secretary Helios opened the door and saw Ana with the tray, he quickly responded, "Alright, bring it inside." He stepped aside to let Ana enter.
Ana nodded and entered with confidence. She carefully placed the drinks and teapot on the table. Neither Helios nor his secretary suspected anything amiss. They had no idea that beneath the maid's uniform was a clever fox poised to trap them.
Helios' secretary looked visibly tired, likely from the day's demanding schedule. "Sir, I've finished preparing the next schedule," he said, his head lowered, as though bracing himself for Helios' response.
"Alright. You can go now and rest. I'll handle the rest," Helios commanded firmly. His secretary obeyed promptly and left the room.
Ana observed that Helios was a man who exerted strong control and expected compliance without question. This demeanor confirmed that he would follow through with his orders unflinchingly.
For a moment, Ana's body tensed as she imagined the dire consequences if she were caught. Nervous and frightened under Helios' gaze, she tried to mask her apprehension with all her skill.
Suddenly, Helios approached and took her hand, pulling her gently into his embrace. The warmth and scent of his body made Ana's fears fade away. She felt a sensation she hadn't experienced in a long time.
In a seductive, whispered tone, Ana said, "I'm enjoying my new life, pursuing a good time by indulging myself." She smiled coyly, wrapped her arms around Helios' neck, and gazed at him with a playful look.
Though Helios was twice her age, he didn't appear old at all. His face was even more handsome than in the photos she had seen. His movements, expressions, and the way he spoke conveyed an attractive, mature charm.
Ana couldn't help but see him as a perfect figure. Every curve of his body seemed sculpted to perfection. Helios embodied a captivating allure, and Ana found herself wondering if she should succumb to his charm.
Caught in Helios' spell, Ana was unaware that she was making a decision she might soon regret.
Helios cupped Ana’s face. In such proximity, Ana’s body shuddered as Helios’ breath brushed against her skin. "If you’re just playing around, you’ve chosen the wrong man." Despite the firmness in Helios’ words, Ana didn’t pull away. Instead, she was eager to hear more.
"I never play around," Ana replied, trying to captivate him with her charm. She hadn’t anticipated being gradually swept away by his handsome and allure.
Helios then grasped Ana’s waist, pressing her into a corner while whispering in a deep, hoarse voice. "How dare you, little fox!"
Ana’s heart skipped a beat. She turned her gaze quickly, glancing at Helios as if sensing danger. She felt ensnared and overwhelmed by uncertainty.
Ana understood that actions always carry consequences. Whether right or wrong was beside the point. What mattered most was that she had followed her plan.
She wrestled with the complex thoughts swirling in her mind, questioning why she would consider retreating now. Where had all her courage and determination gone? If she withdrew now, there would be no turning back.
Helios was not to let things end there. He would use any means necessary to keep her in the room. The trap Ana had intended to use against him had now become her prison. Ana wanted to scream, but her voice seemed to fail her. Where could she turn for help?
Seeing Ana’s terrified expression made Helios smile. It was clear that the little fox hadn’t realized she had walked into a tiger’s den, ready to pounce at any moment. How daring!
Ana stood frozen, like a mannequin unable to move. She was trapped! She should never have challenged or surrendered herself to someone like Helios.
Regret always came in hindsight. Ana had been too bold in seeking trouble, yet if she had avoided this, her life would have been just as tragic.
Helios moved closer as Ana tried to evade him. His eyes flashed with intensity, and a mysterious, captivating smile appeared on his face. He pulled Ana into a tight embrace and said, "Little miss, you’re too late to run away now."
