Zhang Yue's heart raced as she searched for Li Wei, determined to confront him about the secrets she had uncovered. She finally found him in his recording studio, his eyes fixed on the music sheets in front of him. "Li Wei, we need to talk," she said, her voice firm but shaking with emotion. He looked up, his expression calm, but his eyes betraying a hint of guilt. "What is it, Zhang Yue?" She took a deep breath, her words spilling out in a rush. "I know about the room, Li Wei. I know about the surveillance, the monitoring. I know you've been keeping secrets from me." Li Wei's expression changed, his eyes widening in surprise, but he quickly recovered. "Zhang Yue, it's not what you think." "Don't lie to me!" she interrupted, her voice rising. "I saw the screens, Li Wei. I saw the photos, the videos. You've been watching me, monitoring my every move." Li Wei sighed, his shoulders slumping in defeat. "I know, Zhang Yue. And I'm sorry. But please, let me explain." Zhang Yue's anger boiled over, but she forced herself to listen, her heart heavy with doubt and fear. "Explain what, Li Wei? Explain why you've been lying to me, why you've been keeping secrets from me?" Li Wei's eyes dropped, his voice barely above a whisper. "I was trying to protect you, Zhang Yue. From the paparazzi, from the fans, from the world. I didn't want you to get hurt." Zhang Yue's laughter was bitter. "Protect me? By lying to me, by monitoring my every move? That's not protection, Li Wei. That's control." Li Wei's face twisted in pain, but Zhang Yue didn't care. She was done with his secrets, done with his lies. "Zhang Yue, please," he whispered, his voice cracking. "Don't leave me. I love you." But Zhang Yue just shook her head, her heart breaking into a million pieces. "I loved you too, Li Wei. But now, I don't even know who you are." With that, she turned and walked away, leaving Li Wei's secrets, and his lies, behind. Zhang Yue stormed out of the recording studio, her heart heavy with sorrow and anger. She couldn't believe Li Wei's deception. She thought she knew him, but now she realized she didn't know him at all. As she walked through the mansion, she felt like a stranger in a strange land. Everything seemed different, tainted by Li Wei's lies. She reached her room and slammed the door shut, locking it behind her. She couldn't bear the thought of facing Li Wei again, of seeing his deceitful eyes. She collapsed on the bed, tears streaming down her face. She felt like she'd lost her innocence, like she'd been living in a dream world. Just then, her phone rang. It was her best friend, Rachel. "Hey, girl! How's life with the rockstar?" Rachel asked, her voice cheerful. Zhang Yue burst into tears, unable to hold back her emotions. "Rachel, it's all a lie. Li Wei's been keeping secrets from me, monitoring my every move. I feel like a prisoner." Rachel's tone turned serious. "Oh, Zhang Yue, I'm so sorry. What are you going to do?" Zhang Yue sniffled, determination rising within her. "I'm going to leave him, Rachel. I deserve better than a life of lies and control." Rachel's voice was firm. "I'm with you, girl. We'll get through this together." Zhang Yue smiled, feeling a sense of hope for the first time since discovering Li Wei's secrets. She knew she had a long road ahead, but with Rachel by her side, she was ready to face whatever came next. Zhang Yue and Rachel made plans for her to leave the mansion and start fresh. They booked a flight to New York City, where Rachel had a friend who could help Zhang Yue get settled. As Zhang Yue packed her bags, she felt a sense of liberation wash over her. She was finally taking control of her life, leaving the lies and secrets behind. But as she turned to leave the room, she saw Li Wei standing in the doorway, his eyes pleading with her to stay. "Zhang Yue, don't go," he said, his voice cracking. "I love you. I'll do anything to make it right." Zhang Yue's heart ached, but she knew she couldn't stay. She had to think about herself, her own happiness. "Goodbye, Li Wei," she said, her voice firm but gentle. "I deserve better than a life of lies." With that, she walked past him, out of the room, and out of his life. As she and Rachel drove away from the mansion, Zhang Yue felt a sense of freedom she'd never known before. She was finally living her life on her own terms. But little did she know, Li Wei's secrets would come back to haunt her... Zhang Yue and Rachel arrived in New York City, ready to start fresh. They settled into a cozy apartment in Manhattan, and Zhang Yue began to explore the city, rediscovering herself. She started taking art classes, rekindling her passion for painting. She met new friends, people who accepted her for who she was, not for her association with a rockstar. But just as she was finding her footing, a tabloid magazine splashed her face on the cover, along with a headline that made her heart sink: "Li Wei's Secret Lover: The Truth Revealed!" Zhang Yue's phone rang nonstop, with reporters and paparazzi clamoring for a statement. Rachel helped her navigate the media storm, but it was clear: Li Wei's secrets were far from buried. One night, as they walked home from a art show, Zhang Yue spotted a familiar face in the crowd: Sophia, Li Wei's ex-girlfriend, the one from the photo in his mansion. Sophia's eyes locked onto Zhang Yue, a mixture of anger and sadness swirling in their depths. "You think you're so special, don't you?" Sophia sneered. "But you're just like me, a pawn in Li Wei's game." Zhang Yue stood tall, her voice firm. "I'm not afraid of the truth, Sophia. And I'm not afraid of Li Wei's secrets." Sophia's laughter was cold. "You should be. You should be very afraid." With that, she vanished into the night, leaving Zhang Yue with a sense of unease that lingered long after the encounter. Zhang Yue tried to brush off the encounter with Sophia, but the warning lingered in her mind. She began to notice strange occurrences around her - paparazzi lurking in the shadows, mysterious phone calls, and eerie messages on her social media accounts. Rachel noticed the change in her and urged her to seek help. "Zhang Yue, you need to protect yourself. Li Wei's fans can be obsessive, and Sophia's warning was clear." Zhang Yue reluctantly agreed, and Rachel helped her hire a security team to watch over her. But even with the added protection, Zhang Yue couldn't shake off the feeling of being watched. She started to question her own sanity, wondering if she was just being paranoid. One night, as she was walking home from an art class, she saw a figure following her. She quickened her pace, but the figure kept pace with her, their footsteps echoing in the night. Suddenly, the figure stepped into the light, revealing a shocking sight: Li Wei himself, his eyes wild and desperate. "Zhang Yue, please," he begged, his voice low and urgent. "I know I hurt you, but I can't lose you. I need you." Zhang Yue's heart raced as she stood frozen, unsure of what to do. Part of her still loved Li Wei, but another part of her knew she deserved better. "Li Wei, leave me alone," she said firmly, her voice carrying across the night. But Li Wei didn't listen. He reached out, his hand grasping for hers, and Zhang Yue knew she had to act fast. With a surge of adrenaline, she pulled away, her eyes scanning the street for help. That's when she saw them - her security team, watching from the shadows, ready to intervene. "Li Wei, you need to leave," one of the guards said firmly, stepping forward. Li Wei's face twisted in anger, but he knew he was beaten. With a final glance at Zhang Yue, he turned and disappeared into the night, leaving her shaken but relieved. Zhang Yue was shaken by the encounter with Li Wei, but she knew she had to stay strong. She couldn't let him control her life anymore. With Rachel's support, she continued to pursue her art, and her talent began to gain recognition. She landed a few small commissions, and her confidence grew. But just as she was finding her footing, a new challenge emerged. Sophia, Li Wei's ex-girlfriend, began to stalk her, sending menacing messages and showing up at her art shows. Zhang Yue knew she had to take action. She filed a restraining order against Sophia and increased her security measures. But Sophia's harassment continued, and Zhang Yue realized that she needed to confront her once and for all. With Rachel by her side, she arranged a meeting with Sophia, determined to put an end to the stalking. As they faced off in a coffee shop, Sophia's eyes blazed with anger. "You think you can just take Li Wei away from me?" she spat. Zhang Yue stood firm. "Li Wei and I are over, Sophia. And even if we weren't, I'm not afraid of you." Sophia's face twisted, and for a moment, Zhang Yue thought she saw a glimmer of sadness. But then, Sophia's expression hardened, and she hissed, "You haven't seen the last of me." With that, she stormed out of the coffee shop, leaving Zhang Yue shaken but determined to move on. As she walked out of the coffee shop, Zhang Yue felt a sense of relief wash over her. She had faced her fears and stood up for herself. But little did she know, Sophia's threat was far from empty...
