CHAPTER 1

BATHROOM DAY

Monday March 9 , 2020

Arianna was awoken by her phone alarm that was blaring right beside her ears . She streched her arms up above her head . She then grabbed her phone , where the alarm was still ringing . She taped on dismissed on her phone so that the alarm clock would turn off . She then got up and went to her tiny little bathroom to take a shower. After ward, she dried herself off with a little grayish-white coloured towel that she had for a long time . ( She made a reminder in her head to buy a new towel . )

Arianna Wilson is a 25 year old woman . She's at the height of 5ft 4inches , she is a light skin woman with black hair , plum lips and an oval face and was on the thickish side . She lives in Bushwick in Brooklyn . Her parents had died when she was 11 years old , in a house fire , so she had to live with her paternal Auntie Rose , who disliked her very much . She worked three jobs , one as a janitor two as a clerk and the last as a gas station attendant . She has been living alone since she was 18 .

She went into her kitchen and took a ramen noodle out of her cupboard and set it down on the table , and then she poured some water into a kettle and turned it on .

After she had finished her breakfast , she packed two bananas and a green apple for her lunch at work today . On her way out of the house she grabbed her coat , even though the snow had stopped , that didn't mean it wasn't going to be cold .

Arianna left her house at exactly 6:02 a.m.. She always had to take a taxi in the morning and when work was over she would walk all the way home , which was 1 hour and 30 minutes from where she worked .

She now reached a taxi stand , waiting for a taxi to stop and pick her up .

Arianna had to wait for 15 more minutes before she got a taxi .

Arianna reached work at 6:55 a.m. , she sighed with relief that she wasn't late.

She went inside and registered her name , and time she reached work , and then she went to the maintenance staff area to change her clothes .

When she had reached the maintenance area , she saw her best friend and Co-worker Lucy .

" Good morning Lu . " Arianna greeted when she saw Lucy who was seated on a chair in her janitor clothes .

" Morning Anna , how was your night ?. " she greeted , then asked .

'' It was OK , had the best dream in a while . '' Arianna said as she sat on a chair opposite Lucy .

'' What did you dream about ?. '' Lucy said , looking at me a raised eyebrow .

'' It's actually a funny dream . ''' Arianna said , holding out on Lucy .

'' Just tell me , who did you dream about . '' Arianna raised an eyebrow at her statement .

'' I didn`t say - '' As I was about to say, I wasn't dreaming of anyone. The door opened and Becky , one of the top Cleaner ( who only had to clean place like a conference room or the Chairperson's office and so on . ) Who was a total b***h , and loved to annoy people AND boss them around .

Well , she was only a cleaner , so she could only bully or try to bully other low-ranking cleaners like Lucy and I .

'' It is now 7:05 , and you guys are not even cleaning yet . Do y'all notice that you are the only two in here , Everybody else is cleaning and you guys are here chatting , and look SEE Miss Willson isn't even in her work clothes . '' Becky said , as much as I hate her , I knew she was right , This time , so without a word , I got up pulling Lucy with me , and went the Cleaners closet .

'' Did you see how much makeup on her face , she looks like a fake barbie doll . '' Lucy said as I took off my clothes and then put on my cleaners clothes that was assigned with my name . Arianna laughed at what her friend had said because it was totally true .

'' It looked like she well buttered her face today . Maybe she going to clean the boss's office , probably wanting to make him fall in love with her cake face . '' I say as I walked to my locker , I took the piece of paper that was glued to my locker door to see what I was going to do today .

Arianna groaned annoyed when she saw that she was cleaning all the bathrooms today . Is this some kind of karma for what she had just said about Becky ?. Out of all the jobs she could have got , she got the cleaning of the bathroom , which was the worst , because some people think that people who worked in a workplace would not just s*** in a toilet and not flush it , but that was totally not it , they did .

'' What's wrong with the work you get today ?. '' Lucy asked taking the paper from my hands . '' Oh god , your cleaning the toilet today , I'm so happy I'm not the one doing it , hope you don't come to lunch smelling like s**t or p**s . '' Lucy said handing me back the papers .

'' Oh don't worry , your day will soon come . Maybe it will even be tomorrow . Or some day in this week , I gotta go and clean those bathroom , it is not like someone is going to help me . '' Arianna said . Then walked out of the maintenance room and to the first bathroom where she had to begin cleaning .
