Donna had only been asleep for an hour when she woke up. Right away, she wanted to go play on the swings. Eudora was about to take her out when Donna ran to Ryan, hugged his neck, and said,
“I want to go with Dad. It's super sunny outside, Mom. You should rest.”
Of course, Ryan didn't say no. He happily picked her up and they went out to the playground.
