BANG!
The loud sound of the gunshot ripped through the cold night breeze, almost freezing my entire body for a second before I could even think of running away.
At that time, the world seemed to have stopped around us. I held onto a fleeting hope…maybe once the bullet hits me, I would finally be freed of this agonizing life and would be reunited with my daughter and father.
Yet still, I did not feel any sting of the silver bullet grazing against my skin.
