The next morning,
She woke up late cause she'd slept late,
Dayo wasn't on the bed,
She slowly got up from the bed and walked to the bathroom to freshen up and when she came out,
She met Dayo in the room with a tray of food.
" Good morning." She greeted him and went to the bedside drawer for her cellphone,
"Morning baby,
How was your night?" He asked her,
"Fine."
"I brought your food for you,
You didn't eat last night and I know you would be hungry..."
"Thanks." She took the tray from him but didn't eat it,
Hunger isn't her pressing issue.
"You aren't hungry?" He asked when he saw she wasn't eating her breakfast,
"I'll eat later." She told him absentmindedly,
He came to her,
"Are you okay?" He asked her,
She nodded,
"Yes." She replied without looking at him.
