Escaping Hell

After the death of her daughter. she thought she had experienced hell. but she was wrong.

she was then judged by her neighbors saying it's her fault that Lisa was dead because she should be the one who stayed at home.

she was to blame.

her husband was not seen in the burial of their child. But was with his friends and even got himself a mistress and brought it in their house. Mamang recalled how her husband just beat her but expected her to go to work.

the constant beating and mental torture from her husband made her believe that she has nowhere to go.

and she believed that.

While at work, her coworker Nerissa mustered the courage to talk to her. and promised to help her escape her husband which gave her hope.

She helped Mamang to save money for her to travel to manila and to even have enough for rent and food. she also helped keep aside a few clothes so Mamang's husband will not notice. after a month. she then went to school but after Mamang's husband left, she immediately went to Nerissa so she could get her things.

she changed her clothes and went straight to the bus station going to manila.

after that, she went to Manila. She was determined to change her faith to the point that she knew she would also forget her past life.
