The name of the dive was The Last Call, and Rodriguez thought that it certainly was. He walked in and observed three men sitting at the bar. He took a photo of Persaud out of his pocket and noticed him at the end of the bar. The bartender asked, “You want a drink?” Rodriguez replied, “You got any coffee?” “No, but I can brew a pot.” Rodriguez handed him twenty dollars and said, “Brew it.” He walked to the end of the bar and sat next to Persaud. Persaud turned to him and said, “It’s a big bar, why are you sitting next to me, you queer or something?” “No, Abraham. I’m not queer. My name’s Rodriguez.
