Irene Valencia showed up at Dominic’s house before the Demonic Survivors could disperse. She looked tired and she carried her high heels in one hand.
“Come on in,” Dominic said, waving her inside.
“Thanks. Is everything okay?” Irene asked, eying Lin suspiciously.
“We took care of the situation,” Dominic stated.
“I called a tow truck on my walk over here,” Irene said, taking a careful step around Lin. “Tell me everything that happened while I wait.”
“So you can write it all up?” Adam asked, anger in his voice. “I’m sick of people reading about me.”
“Who on earth would believe me?” Irene asked. “This is all off the record.”
“Can you do something for me?” Cody asked.
