Hunter got out of the shower, proud of the fact that he had needed very little help. As he entered his hospital room, he thought about Van. What a one-eighty his life had done when Van unexpectedly came into it. He couldn’t believe his good fortune. He woke up hoping Van was already there with him, but knew Van needed some much-deserved rest after the hell he’d been through the past few days.
Hunter fell back to sleep with the image of Van blowing him and woke up feeling elated that, although they still had trouble to deal with, he knew Van would be by his side. Van felt like home. Wherever that was, wherever they decided to live, Van would always make it his home.
