Wood paneling lined the walls of the office. Tasteful knickknacks decorated the windowsill and the mantle of the unused fireplace. A massive oak desk dominated the center of the space with understated elegance, and a cup of steeping Darjeeling tea sat atop a coaster within easy reach of the office’s occupant, one Hector Olmstadt. Hector stood a few inches over six feet and possessed a massive frame and deep, barrel chest. He kept his hair and beard neatly trimmed and cared not at all that strands of gray creeped into its otherwise dark brown coloration. Knocks on the door drew Hector’s attention, and he called “Enter” without looking away from his computer’s monitor.
