I straighten my posture and walk towards her with a smile on my face, Hayes isn't in sight for now and I'm not sure where he went.
"I see you tried dressing up but you still lack the natural elegance, you look like a money-hungry girl from the streets I wonder what he sees in you" She scowled.
Veronica wanted to say something but I stopped her giving her a curt nod, she sighed and left for the kitchen.

Her makeup was excessive but pretty.
