Josh mirrors my expression and I school mine as I can’t afford Jack saying anything here.
“Out on a mini date?” Jack asks. His gaze flickers between us, but Josh just sips his coffee ignoring him.
Jack sits on the empty chair between us and orders coffee too. I avert my gaze from him, and he smirks.
“What are you doing?” Josh asks his voice a low menace that reminds me of the day at Harrisons.
“Lunch break.”

I wonder about their relationship. It's like every popular person knows each other.
