Why would he even ask that question? How did we end up here? I’m supposed to be resting, aren’t I?
“Whatever you do is your business, but like I said the first time. Don’t let a repeat of what happened last time. It will be worse because you’re an engaged man,” he continues, and I frown at the reminder.
