The clinic lights were bright above Jessica. They reminded her of the book she was reading lately. Just like the fictional character, Jessica was lying on her back and staring at the lights. The only difference was that her eyes were hooded and she had the Alpha's face snug up against her thighs.

"What did you have for lunch?" Tessa asks.

Jessica thinks fast. "Umm, eggplant. I had some eggplant".

Well that wasn't entirely a lie she really did have some eggplant but from a living being who is the Alpha.
